To turn o your mobile network connection, turn on airplane mode.
Set a preferred network type
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > More > Cellular networks > Preferred network type.
3. Tap the type of network you prefer.
Switch mobile networks manually
If you can't connect to a mobile network or if the network signal is weak, you can try switching networks manually.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > More > Cellular networks > Network operators.
3. Tap a network.
Turn o data services over the mobile network
To turn
o data services, you must have a SIM card in your device.
If you turn o data services, your device can't send or receive data over the mobile network and many features and apps
might not work correctly.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen once using two
fingers, or twice using one finger.
2.
Tap > Data usage.
3. If necessary, tap the Cellular tab.
4. Turn o the Cellular data switch.
To turn on data services, turn on the Cellular data switch.
Turn o data services while roaming
Depending on your wireless service plan, you might be able to turn o data services (email messages, PIN messages, text
messages with attachments, and browser service) on your device so that only the phone and basic text messaging are
available. Turning o data services while roaming might prevent you from receiving additional roaming charges. For more
information, contact your service provider.
