Using Another Phone to Access Your Voicemail Messages
1. Dial your wireless phone number.
2. When your voicemail answers, press the asterisk key (
*
).
3. Enter your voicemail passcode and press the pound key (#) to access your voicemail.
Voicemail Options
When you are connected to your voicemail box, follow the spoken instructions to set your
voicemail options, including enabling or disabling Expert Mode, setting up group
distribution lists, selecting reply options, and recording an extended absence greeting.
Entering Text
Entering text on your BlackBerry device works the same as entering text on any full
keyboard. Here are a few tips to help you along the way.
Typing Tips
䢇 To capitalize a letter, hold the letter key until the capitalized letter appears or press the
key and the letter key.
䢇 To type the alternate character on a key, press the key and the character key. For
example, to type a question mark (?), press the key and then press .
䢇 To type a symbol, press the key. To view more symbols, press the key again.
Type the letter that appears below the symbol.
䢇 To type an accented or special character, press and hold the letter key and roll the trackball
left or right. Click a character. For example, to type
ü, press and hold and roll the trackball
to the left until
ü is highlighted. Click the trackball.
䢇 To turn on NUM lock, press the key and press the key. To turn off NUM lock,
press the key.
