Arachnet Multiple machines networked together in one loca-
tion.
Arachnid The name Arachnid (pronounced ah-rack-nid) was
derived from the Latin species name for the spider
family. Arachnid the company, was the originator of
electronic darts and the League Master System of
dart league management.
Assist A standard feat. When two players play Cricket on
one score, the player taking the game out, gets the
Win. The other player gets an Assist.
Dart Head The playing area of a dart machine at which darts
are thrown to produce a score.
Dart Out A standard feat. The total number of darts thrown to
win a game.
Double Bull When the inner and outer segments of the bullseye
are scored separately. The inner scoring 2 marks or
50 points; the outer scoring 1 mark or 25 points.
Expansion Card A device plugged onto the main board of a comput-
er that provides inputs or outputs to the central
processor. Sound, Video, Input/Output Board (IOB),
etc.
Feat A personal accomplishment during a game of darts.
Forfeit The default Win(s) received by a player/team with-
out playing a game or match.
Hattrick A standard feat. During one player’s turn, three
darts stuck in the bullseye area. When the double
bull is active a score of 3 or more marks by two
darts is not considered a hattrick.
High Ton A standard feat. During one player’s turn, a score of
151 to 180 points.
