Immediate medical attention should not be required.
Section 5 - FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
Inhalation:
If breathing is difficult, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position
comfortable for breathing. Get medical advice/attention if you feel unwell.
In case of contact, wash skin with plenty of water. If skin irritation or redness develops,
seek medical attention.
In case of contact, flush eyes with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses, if worn. If
irritation persists, get medical attention.
Ingestion:
If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical advice/attention.
Suitable Extinguishing Media:
Dry chemical, CO2, water spray or regular foam.
Unsuitable Extinguishing Media:
None Known
Special Protective Equipment
and Precautions for Firefighters:
Keep upwind of fire. Inhalation of material may be harmful. Contact may cause
burns to skin and eyes. Inhalation of Asbestos dust may have a damaging
effect on the lungs. Fire may produce irritating, corrosive and/or toxic gases.
Some liquids produce vapors that may cause dizziness or suffocation. Wear
positive pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Structural
firefighters’ protective clothing will only provide limited protection.
In Case of Large Fire:
Water spray, fog or regular foam. Do not scatter spilled material with high-
pressure water streams. Move containers from fire area if you can do it
without risk. Dike fire-control water for later disposal.
Specific Hazards Arising from
the Chemical:
Products of combustion may include, and are not limited to: oxides of carbon.

Personal Precautions, Protective
Equipment and Emergency
Procedures:
Use personal protection recommended in Section 8. Isolate the hazard area
and deny entry to unnecessary and unprotected personnel.
Methods and Materials for
Containment and Cleaning Up:
Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Stop leak if you can do it
without risk. Small Dry Spill: Prevent dust cloud. With clean shovel, place
material into clean, dry container and cover loosely; move containers from spill
area. Large Spill: Cover powder spill with plastic sheet or tarp to minimize
spreading.
Environmental Precautions:
Report spills as required by local and national regulations. Prevent entry into
storm sewers and waterways.
