Cable Distances
This section provides information to help you select the cables to be used with the BlackDiamond X8
series switch. Table 10 shows cable media types and maximum distances that support reliable
transmission in accordance with international standards, except where noted. Table 11 lists the Extreme
Networks direct-attach cables.
