All four physical stack ports must be connected per the cabling guidelines in the VIM1 module
installation note included in your VIM1 shipment. The ports must be operational in order to function properly.

● Connect stacking cables between two VIM1-SummitStack512 modules as follows:
- Stack port 1 to stack port 1
- Stack port 2 to stack port 2
- Stack port 3 to stack port 3
- Stack port 4 to stack port 4
Any other connection order could result in an incorrect stacking topology and cause a non-
deterministic traffic routing between the two Summit X650 series nodes.
