HAI Access Control: Total control
Proximity card reader and accessories connect to an HAI home control system for
complete access control. A durable and scratch resistant polycarbonate housing
protects the reader. Full epoxy pong ensures successful operaon even in harsh
environments. Simplied wiring makes for ecient residenal or small commercial
use. Everything between the controller and the readers–including power–goes over
a single four-conductor or CAT-5 wire.
The reader incorporates an input for a push-to-exit buon and an output for an
electric door strike or magnec lock. It can be mounted to a door frame (mullion) or
to any at wall surface. The two-color LEDs (green and red) and Piezo sounder on
the reader can be customized to provide individual feedback to the user.
Each card is aached to a user code in the HAI Omni or Lumina family controller
which can be managed with specic privileges. Users can be granted privileges
based on me and date, and access can be restricted to specic readers. Each swipe
can perform as many acons as desired and these results can be customized by
me of day, arming condion, or any other event the HAI home control system is
monitoring. All car or keytag acons can also be customized for each user. HAI Access
Control cards can be ed in to any home automaon funcons that the HAI Omni
or Lumina family controller is capable of including lighng, energy management,
surveillance, and audio.
HAI also makes intercom technology available using VoIP on the OmniTouch 5.7e
Touchscreen. Communicate from a Touchscreen to a door staon to see guests,
speak to them on camera, and grant them access. See page 62 for more informaon.
Weatherproof and vandal resistant piezoelectric keypad designed to
interface with HAI home controllers. Buons work simply by tapping
the surface. Sleek keys of the outdoor keypad can be operated
with a bare nger or a snow-covered glove. Stainless steel outdoor
keypad, cable assembly, instrucons. Connects via serial port on HAI
controller (does not use console/keypad port on console bus).
