X Press the handle down as far as it will go. Secure the handle using the screws (14). Assembling the upper handle (fig. Blade maintenance X Regularly remove grass and dirt from the blade. X At the beginning of the gardening season, carefully examine the condition of the blade. X If the blade is very blunt, sharpen or replace the blade. X If the blade is damaged or worn, fit a new blade as described below. Replacing the blade (fig.
