How to use: This product is for household use only. GETTING STARTED • Remove all packing material and, if applicable, any stickers from the product; remove and save literature. • For additional information go to www.georgeforemancooking.com. • Go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty. • Wash plates in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly Note: Although the plates are dishwasher-safe, we recommend hand washing to preserve their appearance.
USING YOUR WAFFLE PLATES 1. Plug in the grill and press the power button to turn on. 2. Set temperature at 375° F (or to your desired cooking temperature according to the recipe or package directions) and allow grill to preheat for at least 5 minutes. 3. Using a pot holder, carefully open the preheated grill. 4. Pour about ½ cup waffle batter onto both sections of the bottom waffle plate. Note: Do not overload the cooking plate. 5. Close the grill cover.
CARE AND CLEANING CLEANING THE WAFFLE PLATES 1. Before cleaning, unplug grill from wall outlet and allow to cool. Caution: Do not remove the plates while the appliance is hot. Always allow them to cool to room temperature before removing or cleaning. 2. To remove the plates, pull out on the release handles on both sides and remove from the grill. 3. The plates can be washed in the dishwasher or by hand with hot, soapy water.
