Common Installation Procedures

To install the DCM software, do the following:

1. Insert the DCM software DVD into a DVD drive on the computer on

which you wish to install the DCM client software. As explained above,

this can be a separate Control PC or on the same computer as an

instance of the MediaEdge SVS4 Server.

Note If installing the DCM software on a separate control PC, begin the installation

on the MediaEdge SVS4 server(s).

The installation program will launch automatically and, after a few

moments preparing the installation, the welcome screen shown in

Figure 51 appears.
