Locate the hole at right angles to the discharge line for a swing joint. A Black and Decker “Twiston” hole saw, or the equivalent, is recommended for this purpose.

In order to perform installation you must excavate around the casing per your governing OSHA or State regulation for Trenching and Excavating. The OSHA regulation is 1926.650-652 Trenching and Excavating. Contact your local officials for state regulations. 3. Determine the necessary amount of casing to cut off.
