Intended use Your Black & Decker USB converter is designed to convert 12 Vdc current to 5 Vdc current. It allows the 12 Vdc current in an automobile to supply 5 Vdc power to operate equipment that is normally supplied from a USB power source. This product is intended for consumer use only.
Connecting to a power source using the 12 Vdc accessory plug (fig. A - C) The tip of the plug is positive (+) and the side contact is negative (-). X Unfold the 12 Vdc accessory plug (4) from the body of the stick to one of the 5 preset positions. X Connect the power converter to the power source by inserting the 12 Vdc accessory plug (4) firmly into the accessory outlet of a vehicle or other dc power source. X The green LED (3) will light when a good connection is made.
X X X X Remove the fuse. Fit a new fuse of the same type and size (1.6 A). Refit the cap and centre pin. Tighten the cap by turning clockwise onto the plug. Protecting the environment Separate collection. This product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Should you find one day that your Black & Decker product needs replacement, or if it is of no further use to you, do not dispose of it with household waste. Make this product available for separate collection.
