TO CHARGE THE APPLIANCE:
•Makesuretheapplianceisswitchedoff.
The battery will not be charged with the on/
offOn/Offswitch(1)intheOnposition.
•Plugthechargingbase(11)intoa
standard120Volt60Hzelectricaloutlet.
•Lowertheapplianceontothecharging
base.TheblueLED(3)inthebaseofthe
appliance will illuminate to indicate that it
is charging.
•Whenchargingiscomplete,theLEDwill
turn off.
•Thechargermaybecomewarmduring
charging. This is normal and does not
indicate a problem.
Whileitissafetoleavetheappliance
connected to the charger indefinitely,
to reduce power consumption, we
recommend unplugging the charger after
24hours.

OPTIMIZING THE SUCTION
FORCE
Rotating the bowl agitates the filter to remove
dirt; however, in order to keep the suction force
optimized, the dust container and filters must
be cleaned regularly during use.

Boththeplasticpre-filter(12)andthe
pleatedfilter(13)arere-usableandshould
be cleaned regularly.
•Pullthedoorlatch(9)andopenthe
transparentdoor(8).
•Removethepre-filter(12)fromthe
appliance by twisting the filter to the
right and pulling it from the appliance.
•Removethepleatedfilterfromthepre-
filter by pulling firmly.
•Tapthefiltersvigorouslytoremove
loose dust.
