SWITCHING ON AND OFF
To switch the tool off, release the trigger switch. To switch the tool off, when in continuous

Rotating the variable speed control wheel toward the rear of
the jigsaw will result in slower speeds. Position the speed control
dial at 1 for the slowest speed, 3 for medium speed, and 6 for
the
highest speed.
CUTTING ACTION – ORBITAL OR STRAIGHT
CAUTION:
Check that the tool is not locked ON before
connecting it to a power supply. If the trigger switch is locked ON
when the tool is connected to the power supply, it will start
immediately. Damage to your tool or personal injury may result.
The variable cutting action allows you to select one of four
different cutting actions.
To set the cutting action, rotate the cutting action lever
(Fig. G).
Position 0 is straight cutting.
Positions 1, 2, and 3 are orbital cutting.
The aggressiveness of the cut increases as the lever is adjusted
from one to three, with three being the most aggressive cut.
NOTE:
INSTALLING THE VACUUM ADAPTOR
To reduce the amount of loose sawdust produced while cutting,
vacuum adapter that is attached to the jigsaw.

NOTE: The vacuum adapter is slightly tapered. If the adapter
is too large to be inserted into the vacuum port, insert the
opposite end of the adaptor into the vacuum port.
NOTE: Twist the adapter slightly as it is pressed into the
vacuum port to ensure it is fully inserted.
