WHAT IS THE “BLACKHEATH” The BLACKHEATH is a bass distortion pedal dedicated to giving the bass player all the tonal distortion they are looking for in a single pedal.

CONTROLS 1 GAIN Control for the amount of drive into the distortion stage. Higher settings for a more distorted signal, lower settings for a little bit of grit. 2 RANGE Control for the amount of low end distortion. Setting the control to minimum allow the most low end out of the pedal giving you a thunderous growl. A maximum setting removes some of the low end frequencies and gives you a tighter sound for a more punchy mid-forward tone.

CONTROLS 5 COLOUR Controls the hig frequency content of the distorted signal. Set high fro abrighter distortion. Set low for a darker distortion 6 SIGNAL INPUT Bass / Guitar / Instrument input. Optimised for bass guitar but can accept other instruments. 7 FOOTSWITCH Enables / Disables the pedal. 8 OUTPUT The main FX output. This is a low noise high quality buffered output.
OPERATION Install a good quality 9V battery into the pedal by unscrewing the base of the pedal and fitting the battery securely to the battery connector and then replace the base of the pedal. Do not use excessive force to tighten up the 4 base plate screws as this could damage the screws. When not in use it is always a good idea to remove the input jack from your pedal to prevent any unwanted battery power loss.
