• Connection of a DTE to a 64 kbps co-directional G.703 1.544 Mbps or G.703
1.048 Mbps network or DTE. In a typical application, a Modular Modem
Eliminator could be used to allow LAN interconnection via bridges using
an E1 digital network, for example, even when the bridges do not have E1
interfaces. Figure 2-7 shows an application where bridges with a V.35 interface
communicate over the E1 digital network (transparent to 2.048 Mbps network
with no need for framing).
