All supervised inputs on the I8 Input Module are terminated with on-
board 1K ohm resistors. These resistors stand off the module
approximately 0.25". Before you use the associated input, clip the resistor
out completely.
Note Do not use the standoff resistor as part of the supervised input
wiring. For supervised inputs, the resistors should be as close as
possible to the input switch.
