cathode must be on the positive side of the strike. The ARM-1 wiring
for an installation with DC power is shown in Figure 4.7.

If the power supply is AC, install a varistor (World Products, Inc. #SNR-
D56K2 or equivalent) across the door strike to suppress noise. Figure 4.8
shows the ARM-1 wiring for an installation with AC power.
