The Black Box ServSwitch Extender consists of:
• The transmitter that connects externally to the remote computer
• The receiver that is located at the user’s desk

Management Appliance
The Black Box ServSwitch DTX™ Control (Management Appliance) is a web browser-
based management solution that allows administrators to remotely manage and monitor
networks of receivers and transmitters (units) that comprise the ServSwitch Extender
system.
Using the Management Appliance, an administrator can add units, view and edit unit
properties and initiate a variety of other operations.
NOTE:
The ServSwitch DTX5002 operates in Extender Mode only.
