ACT Intelligent Capacity Gauge
The iGauge is the perfect companion to an ACT intelligent charger.
The iGauge is an intelligent capacity display unit that fits underneath ANY existing adaptor plates and delivers
precise milliamp readings of a battery’s capacity – regardless of battery chemistry.
The iGauge also features deep conditioning through three complete discharge/ re-charge cycles – virtually
eliminating all memory effects and restoring lost capacity in NiCd and NiMH batteries.
Due to long term capacity loss effects associated with LiIon cells, the reACTivate cycle is not available for this type
of battery. Please note that the iGauge is compatible with both new and old version chargers.

Function Summary
Charge/ Discharge
The default mode is the charge and
automatic condition mode. If a
battery is placed on the adaptor this
mode is started automatically after
30 seconds.
Pressing ‘Next’ accesses the other
modes.
Capacity Check
The capacity check function is used
to ascertain the energy stored in a
battery. Once the capacity function
is selected the battery is
discharged, accurately measured
and then recharged. Capacity is
displayed in mAh
ReACTivate
The reACTivate function discharge
and re-charge cycles the battery
three times terminating with a fully
charged battery. At the end of each
individual cycle a capacity
measurement is displayed which
allows a user to determine if
capacity is being recovered. (NiCd &
NiMH batteries only).
