Appendix A: Example Applications
This section illustrates three specific applications using Extender units:
• Six dual-monitor consoles with serial and audio extension (Figure 7). Requires six
ACUMRA02A Remote units and ACU1006VRA and ACU1006RA Local Hubs.
• Remote serial touch screens with Local access through a KVM switch (Figure 8).
Requires two ACU3228A kits.
• Extender system with second screen for security monitoring (Figure 9). Requires one
ACU3201A kit.
