Chapter 2 Preparing for Installation

Required Tools and Equipment

You need the following tools and equipment to install the Cisco Secure ACS

Appliance:

• RJ-45 console cable (provided)

• Power cord (provided)

• Number 2 Phillips screwdriver

• Tape measure and level

• Antistatic mat or antistatic foam

• ESD grounding strap

• Ethernet cable

• Rack-mount kit (provided)

Two chassis-support rails

–

Cable support bracket (optional)

–

Cable tray clamp (optional)

• Eight screws sized to attach chassis-support rails to your particular rack

(1/4-20 or M6 thread size suggested)
