3. Configuration & Operation

The only thing that requires configuration on the AC155A-R2 is the

COMPENSATION setting.

Please refer to Figure 2.2 for the location of the potentiometer. The pot

is recessed and you need a small screwdriver to adjust it.

The adjustment range of the pot is from fully CCW (minimum

compensation; good to distances of 0 to 100 feet) to fully CW (max

compensation for 1,000 feet). The adjustment is continuous and it is

best to start with a fully CCW position on the pot and after installation,

slowly turn the pot CW to obtain the best image.

The video quality at the remote station depends on the length of the

CAT5 cable, actual video resolution and refresh rate. Please refer to

Table 3.1 for maximum recommended length.
