KVP4000A: top: front view; bottom: rear view
One for all.
The ServSwitch
4site gives you true KVM
switching for controlling four servers from one
keyboard and mouse. Plus, it enables you to
display the video from those four servers on one
monitor all at the same time, and in real time!
This ServSwitch is a real bonus if you work in a
control room or need to keep track of multiple
screens. You can view them all on the one
monitor at your workstation instead of setting
up
a bank of monitors.
Advanced video processing.
Unlike other video KVM switches, the 4site
features an advanced video processing engine that
enables a number of unique viewing opportuni-
ties. Take two to 16 video feeds, and display them
on a large format monitor.
Tie multiple KVM
switching systems together to be monitored in
your network operations center.
Mix DVI and VGA
inputs and get a high quality, properly scaled out-
put. You won’t find these
features anywhere else.
Clearly compatible.
The ServSwitch 4site gives you the flexibility
to
use all types of monitors and video equipment. It
supports all combinations of analog VGA and
digital DVI video cards, monitors, even cameras.
The switch automatically determines the
resolution of the monitor and each of the four
servers. For clear, sharp video, digital resolutions
up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz are supported,
and
VGA analog resolutions of 1600 x 1200
are
supported.
Easy switching.
You can switch between the four operation
modes and switch control to your target machines
by using the front-panel buttons, keyboard
commands, mouse functions, or touch screens.
Visualize everything.
You can also use the ServSwitch 4site to tie up
to four KVM switching systems together. Centralize
management for the ultimate KVM switching
experience!
You can even control it remotely over the
Internet using a KVM-over-IP access point, such as
the ServSwitch Wizard
IP Plus (page 11). Connect
all devices to the ServSwitch from any location
using Web client via a LAN or the Internet.
In Quad Mode, you can view the output
from four different video sources.
In Picture-in-Picture Mode, you can view the full
screen display on one video source along with
smaller images from the three other video sources.
