ServSwitch EC
Control multiple PS/2 and/or USB
servers from your desktop!
Want the option of using either a PS/2 or USB
keyboard, mouse, and monitor console to control
multiple PS/2 and/or USB servers? The ServSwitch
EC makes it possible.
To expand your platform to include additional
servers, simply cascade units in a master-slave
configuration. Cascade up to 16 servers with the
4-port models, up to 64 servers with the 8-port
models, and up to 136 servers with the 16-port
models. Because the ServSwitch EC is plug-and-
play, you can add or subtract servers almost as
quickly as you can plug and unplug cables.
Ideal for areas where you have alimited amount
of space, the 1U-high ServSwitch EC
can be used on the desktop or mounted in a
rack or cabinet. (Brackets are included with the
8- and 16-port models.) To save more space, the
KVM circuitry is concentrated in a single connector
at the server end. This way, you have fewer cables
to install when making server connections.
NOTE: Master units can only cascade to slave units
that have the same or fewer number of ports.
* You can also cascade KV910xA and KV920xA
switches with PS/2 only switches (KV900xA).
