The ServSwitch Wizard
™
IP Plus from Black Box
enables you to remotely access an attached
ServSwitch and all servers connected to it from
anywhere in the world via an IP network or a
dialup connection. No special software is needed
on the controlled servers. Unlike software-only
remote access solutions, the ServSwitch Wizard IP
Plus provides full control — even during bootup.

The ServSwitch Wizard IP Management Software connects the whole Wizard IP product family by providing
central management functionality and security-based access to clusters of servers. You can now manage
multiple sites or multiple servers more efficiently and economically than ever before — all while using high-
performance ServSwitch Wizard IP products. Administration and access is done via Web browser.
Up to four simultaneous remote users can view
the ServSwitch Wizard IP Plus, although only one
user has complete control. You can connect all
users via its RJ-45 network port or link one of four
remote users via its modem/ISDN DB9 port. You
can also use the DB9 port as a backup access
route should the network fail.
The ServSwitch Wizard Plus contain an
embedded VNC server, which you can access
securely using a VNC viewer or a browser running
Java. No extra software seat licenses
are needed.
Private or shared access modes
are supported
from up to four viewers.
A fast (533-MHz) processor and better video
performance make the ServSwitch Wizard Plus
ideal for high-end server rooms. The Virtual Media
feature enables you to remotely make files avail-
able to any host computer linked to the Plus.
