5. Command : *IDN?

Description : Identification Query

Function : This query command will read back the specific informa-

tion about device. There are 4 fields in the response sepa-

rated by commas.

Field 1: Manufacturer (DEL)

Field 2: Model number (XXXXXXX)

Field 3: Serial number (0 if not available)

Field 4: Version number (XX.YY)

6. Command : *OPC

Description : Operation complete command

Function : This command tells the device to generate the operation

complete message in the Standard Event register when

all the pending selected device operations have been com-

pleted.

7. Command : *OPC?

Description : Operation Complete Query

Function : When this query is sent if the <NR.DATA> response re-

ceived is ‘1’, then it implies that the device has completed

all pending operations.

8. Command : *RST

Description : Reset Command

Function : This Reset command performs a Device reset & forces

the device into OCIS state & OQIS state and sets the de-

vice specific functions to a known state. (Please refer to

section 5.7.1 for the Details of *RST Conditions.)

9. Command : *SRE<SP><NR.DATA>

Description : Service Request Enable Command.

Function : This command sets the bits in the Service Request En-

able Register as per the data sent in the <NR.DATA> (0-

255) data format.
