User's Manual
• Battery Life: Up to 70 hours with vibration Off.
NOTE: When using the vibration function, battery life will vary based on the user
performance during game play and the genre of game.
• Smart Channel: The Automatic RF Channel select feature will choose from 8
dedicated frequencies to connect the Wireless Port to the receiver when powered on.
For Best Performance:
• Use the Wireless Port and Receiver within 50 feet of each other. The effective range
may vary depending on outside interference from radio frequency sources.
• Replace the batteries if the Power LED on the Wireless Port flashes and starts to
dim.
Troubleshooting:
If you are having trouble getting the Wireless Port to work properly, try the following
solutions before calling customer service.
• CONNECTION: Make sure that the receiver cables are fully inserted into the
PlayStation controller ports 1 and 2
NOTE: THE WIRELESS PORT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR USE WITH THE
PLAYSTATION MULTI TAP
• POWER: Make sure that the power is ON, and that the Power LED on the Wireless
Port is lighted. If the Power ON LED is OFF, try installing new batteries.
• RF INTERFERENCE: The Wireless Port Smart Channel chooses the cleanest
dedicated frequency for the RF communication between the Controller and Receiver.
However, should the controller operation become inconsistent during game play,
unplug and plug the Receiver back into the PlayStation console to allow the Smart
Channel technology to automatically switch to another frequency.

battery acid away from your eyes and mouth. Leaking batteries may make popping
sounds.
To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix used and new batteries (replace all batteries at the same time).
