2. INSTALLING YOUR SOFTWARE

The Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac app can be installed from you Bitdefender account as follows:

1. Log in as an administrator.

2. Go to: https://central.bitdefender.com.

3. Log in to your Bitdefender account using your email address and password.

If you do not have a Bitdefender account, you can create one. Alternatively, you can sign in using a

Facebook, Google or Microsoft account.

4. Select the My Devices panel, and then click Install Protecti on.

5. Click Download to continue.

6. Run the Bitdefender product you have downloaded.

7. Complete the installation steps.

3. ENJOY ADVANCED PROTECTION

Once the installation is completed, your Mac is protected against all kinds of threats. Immediately

after the installation, scan your system to make sure it is clean. To completely secure your web

browsing experience, click the Fix Now option in the Web Protection pane from the Bitdefender

interface, and then click the Get Extension button in the window which appears.

The Traf cLight extensions are activated in the browsers you have installed to protect you against

online phishing and block any malicious content.

Each time you connect to an unsecured wireless network, use the Bitdefender VPN app to secure

your online activity, hide your IP address, or access content that normally is restricted in certain

areas.

Security updates are made every hour, and you are not required to con gure any settings. From

time to time, open Bitdefender and  x any existing security issues.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Macintosh devices running one of following operating systems:

• Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

• Mac OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

• Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

• Mac OS Sierra (10.12.5 or later)

• Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.0 or later)

Available free hard disk space: 600 MB

Internet connection is required to receive online Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac updates.
