Firmware 3.0
Version 3.0 rmware brings some substantial new features and enhancements to the BirdDog P200.
This release includes the following new features and bug xes:
NDI v4.1 support
This version of rmware includes the latest NDI libraries allowing for greater
compatibility, higher performance NDI source discovery and new network operating
modes.
Supports NDI 4.x Discovery server for larger deployments.
Added MultiTCP support.
Updated Web UI
Since there are many more options in v3.0 rmware, the Web UI has been updated to
accommodate a drawer arrangement for the A/V Setup making it cleaner and easier
to understand.
Dynamic feedback is now included in the WebUI where any setting is correctly
reected in the WebUI even after the unit is rebooted.
NDI Bandwidth management
User-selectable NDI bandwidth target bitrate which allows users to increase or
decrease the amount of network bandwidth the BirdDog Eyes P200 uses. This is
selectable between 80Mbps and 180Mbps.
Audio Gain adjustment
User selectable gain for the headset microphone and speaker output which allows
support for many more devices for use with BirdDog Comms or for analogue audio
output in Decode mode.
RESTful API support
Eyes P200 is now controllable from any device that allows RESTful commands, allowing
for automation systems to take full control of the BirdDog Eyes P200 and retrieve
system status information.

BirdDog Comms Pro/Comms Lite 1.2 support
This rmware supports the updated BirdDog Comms Pro and Comms Lite applications
which oer signicantly higher performance and useability. Comms software is
available via a separate download and release notes of changes in this version are
included in the download package.
VISCA over IP improvements
Included in Firmware 3.0 is an improved VISCA over IP implementation that allows bi-
directional feedback for interactive control.
Improved compatibility with 3rd party applications that employ VISCA over IP
protocols including vMix and Wirecast.
