Procedure
1. Start with the lowest Heat Level setting from the table below. Enter this combination
in the Supplies section of the PCMate format.
2. Place the printhead contrast knob all the way counter-clockwise.
4. Begin printing. Move the contrast knob clockwise until print quality as acceptable or
you hit the high stop.
5. If you hit the high stop, select the next heat level or maybe skip one and repeat the
procedure until print quality.
6. Be careful at the high heat settings. The thermal transfer ribbon can break if the
temperature is too high.

CAUTION: For extended print head life and prevent ink
breakage, use the lowest heat level and print contrast
knob setting that produces acceptable print quality.
