INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Select a preemie hand splint (PHS).
2. Very gently place the infants thumb through
PHS thumb strap opening until the strap is at
base of the thumb (in the web space).
3. Holding one end of PHS wrist cu in place on
the infant’s wrist, gently pull and overlap the
Velcro hook onto the Velcro loop portion of
PHS wrist cu to secure it in place around
the wrist. NOTE: The PHS wrist cu must
t around infant’s wrist snugly but not
so tight as to create a tourniquet eect.
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for the opposite hand.
