Control solution poorly shak-
en.
Shake the control solution
vigorously and repeat the
test again.
Expired or contaminated
control solution.
Check the expiration date
or the discarded date of the
control solution.
Control solution that is too
warm or too cold.
Control solution, moni-
tor, and test strips should
come to room temperature
(68-77°F/20-25°C) before
testing.
Test strip deterioration. Repeat the test with a new
test strip.
Monitor malfunction. Contact local customer
service
