Water in granules immediately after application with enough water
to dissolve the granules and cause the soil to be wet to a depth of
3-4 inches. With watering, granules will slowly dissolve to release
the insecticide and fertilizer into the soil.
Pull back mulch and weed barrier before application.
Use this product as part of an overall tree and shrub health care program
before problems start. This product can be applied anytime except when
the soil is waterlogged or frozen. These conditions inhibit the movement
of the product down into the root zone. During prolonged dry periods,
saturate the soil around the tree or shrub well with water the night
before making an application.
For severe infestations, treat with a foliar insecticide such as Bayer
Advanced 3in1 Insect, Disease & Mite Control, then use this product
as part of a routine care program.
The insecticide dissolved in water moves down through the soil,
where it is absorbed by the roots. Once absorbed, it moves up through
the tree or shrub providing year-long insect protection. This product
even moves into new growth after application, thus protecting it,
too! For insect control, the insecticide must distribute completely
through the tree or shrub. Depending on the size and health of the
plant, this may take one week to three months (for very large trees).
Rain or water cannot wash o this internal protection. In addition to
insect protection, a slow release nitrogen fertilizer is supplied for
the tree or shrub.
NOTE: Applica
tion to trees heavily infested may not prevent their eventual loss
due to existing pest damage and tree stress.
• Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing.
• Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating,
drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco. Remove and wash contaminated
clothing before reuse.
• Wear long-sleeved shirt and long pants, socks, shoes, and gloves.
• This pesticide is toxic to aquatic invertebrates.
• To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run o into
storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product
in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to
ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide o the treatment
area. Sweeping any product that lands on a driveway, sidewalk, or street, back
onto the treated area of the lawn or garden will help to prevent run o to
water bodies or drainage systems.

Store in original container in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children,
preferably a locked storage cabinet.

MANTENER FUERA DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NIÑOS
Regar los gránulos con suciente agua inmediatamente después de la
aplicación para disolverlos y hacer que el suelo se humedezca hasta una
profundidad de 3 a 4 pulgadas (7.5 a 10 cm). Al regarlos, los gránulos se
disolverán lentamente para liberar el insecticida y el fertilizante en la tierra.
Quitar el mantillo y la barrera de maleza antes de la aplicación.
Utilizar este producto como parte de un programa global para el
cuidado de la salud de árboles y arbustos antes de que comiencen los
problemas. Este producto se puede aplicar en cualquier momento,
excepto cuando el suelo está anegado o congelado. Estas condiciones
inhiben el descenso del producto a la zona de las raíces. Durante
períodos prolongados de sequía, saturar con abundante agua el suelo
que rodea al árbol o arbusto la noche anterior a la aplicación.
Para eliminar plagas graves, tratar con un insecticida para el follaje como
el concentrado 3 en 1 para controlar insectos, enfermedades y ácaros
Bayer Advanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease & Mite Control Concentrate, luego
utilizar este producto como parte de un programa de cuidados de rutina.
El insecticida disuelto en agua desciende a través del suelo donde las
raíces lo absorben. Una vez absorbido, asciende por el árbol o arbusto
proporcionando protección contra los insectos durante todo el año.
Este producto incluso ingresa en los nuevos brotes después de la
aplicación y de este modo también los protege. Para el control de los
insectos, el insecticida se debe distribuir por completo en el árbol o
arbusto. Según el tamaño y la salud de la planta, esto puede tomar de
una semana a tres meses (para árboles muy grandes). Ni la lluvia ni el
agua pueden lavar esta protección interna. Además de la protección
contra los insectos, se suministra fertilizante nitrogenado de liberación
lenta para árboles o arbustos.
