2.4 Location of the Instrument
The Ultramark microplate reader is a precise optical measuring instrument. The following conditions
must be met to ensure maximum sensitivity:
• Place the instrument on a flat surface that is free of vibration.
• Do not place the instrument in direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the instrument is being operated in a dust-free environment.
Warning!
Do not operate the instrument with the filter cover off. Always have the filter cover
attached to ensure proper data sampling and protect users from moving parts.
