Initialization File
APPENDIX A. INITIALIZATION FILE
The GLYCODOC.INI initialization file defines the default options an application automatically selects when it
is first envoked. Because it is a text file, it can be easily edited by the user. The Glyco Doc Imaging initial-
ization file specifies:
• Window display defaults
• Standard Lane Options
• Colors
• Band descriptions
• Last Exposure Time
• Bright File locations
• Default data locations
Note: The software must be restarted in order for the .INI file changes to take affect.
A.1 WINDOW DISPLAY DEFAULTS
The default settings shown below determine whether various windows appear at startup. Unless otherwise
specified, “0” designates “off” and “1” designates “on” at startup.
Image Histogram IGROn=1
Densitometer DenOn=1
DenMode=0 ; 0 for Marked region, 1 for Selected Lane
Pixel Table TBVBlockOn=0
Mouse Table TBVMouseOn=1
Band Table TBVBandsOn=1
TBVBandsMode=0 ; cycles through the various modes 0-8
Zoom Table ZoomOn=1
A.2 STANDARD LANE OPTION DEFAULTS
Option default are the startup settings for the items in the Options menu:
