, In or der to in ter rupt a downlo ad that has been start ed, press the »Ab ort« soft key or the
ESC key.
In so me ca ses, all da ta in the te le pho ne is se lec ted when car ry ing out a firm wa re downlo ad. If this is the ca se, the fol lo -
wing mes sa ge will be dis play ed be fo re the downlo ad starts: »All da ta will be de le ted Con ti nue?«. The
firm wa re downlo ad will on ly com men ce on ce you ha ve con fir med ac cep tan ce of this mes sa ge by pres sing the «yes«
soft key. If the te le pho ne da ta is not de le ted when downloa ding, the download will begin without any flashing
message.
Telephone BIOS mode (elmeg CS410/ elmeg CS410-U):
The te le pho ne has a BI OS mo de (ba sic functions) in En glish. The va ri ous BI OS functions shall re main avai la ble to
you even if the te le pho ne firm wa re is not functio ning cor rect ly or if new firm wa re has not been fully downloaded.
The following functions are available in the telephone BIOS mode

All te le pho ne calls are sig nal led. No call num bers (MSN) need to be en te red in the te le pho ne.
•
It is pos si ble to make out going calls once the re cei ver is lif ted (no dial pre pa ra ti on, no loud spea ker).
•
Loa ding of new te le pho ne firm wa re via ex ter nal ISDN con nec tor.

If the te le pho ne is to be used in a coun try that de via tes from the ba sic set tings, coun try-spe ci fic set tings shall the re fo -
re be ne ces sa ry.
This sets the langua ge, the cur ren cy and coun try-spe ci fic fea tu res in the ISDN net work to the ba sic set tings of your
chosen country.
As des cri bed be low, plea se check whet her coun try-spe ci fic set tings are pos si ble for the coun try in which the te le pho -
ne is to be used.
