the re ceipt of UUS1 text mes sa ges on or off. E.g.:
»ex ter nal«: Re ceipt of ex ter nal mes sa ges in hi bi ted.
»in ter nal«: Re ceipt of in ter nal messages is possible.

Error receiving an SMS message
If you are un ab le to re cei ve an SMS mes sa ge or on ly as voi ce out put, the re may be se ve ral reasons:

If you are un ab le to trans mit an SMS mes sa ge, a cor re spon ding er ror code is dis play ed. Con sult the SMS ser vi ce
of your net work ope ra tor / pro vi der to find out which er ror codes are displayed.

The SMS per for man ce fea tu re has not been re gis te red with the net work ope ra tor and/or the pro vi der of the
SMS cen tre for your ISDN connection.
•
The SMS mes sa ge was trans mit ted by a third-par ty ser vi ce pro vi der, which fai led to trans mit this mes sa ge as
an SMS message.
•
Per ma nent num ber sup pres si on is ac ti vat ed for your ISDN con nec ti on.
•
5 SMS mes sa ges are al rea dy sa ved in the te le pho ne, mea ning the re fo re that no more SMS mes sa ges can be
received.
•
Check the sys tem te le pho ne and PABX sett tings
