Writing, sending an storing SMS-messages
An SMS message may not be longer than 612 characters.
SMS messages are saved automatically only if there is an interruption when sending! If you have
drafted an important SMS and wish to save it, you must do this before sending it (see instructions on
this page).
Press the Hang-up key to leave this menu item without saving or sending the SMS.
Entering and sending SMS-text
Press Menu, select SMS and press OK.
Select and press OK.
Enter the text and then press OK.
Enter the receiving party's number and press OK or press Options to select
a number from the available lists.
Select and press OK.
Saving SMS messages to "Outgoing"
If you wish to save an SMS to Outgoing you must do this before you send the message!
Select and press OK.
To learn how to use saved SMS messages as templates at any time, refer to page 44 under menu
item "Editing SMS messages".
An SMS is saved automatically if you are called while you are drafting an SMS message. You can
accept the call and continue writing, or send the SMS later by selecting "Write new SMS" again.
The message "SMS being sent" appears on all handsets when an SMS message is being
transmitted.
