10.7 CO
2
tolerance range alarm (CO
2
over/under concentration)
The main controller CO
2
alarm.
The CO
2
concentration has risen above or fallen below the CO
2
alarm threshold.
• The alarm signal is usually emitted immediately upon the fault occurring, but no alarm signal is emitted
during the CO
2
alarm delay time after the outer door is closed.

Actions:
• Check the setting of the operating function “AL.2” (CO
2
alarm-threshold). The value should be ≥ 1 vol.-
% CO
2
. If necessary, adjust the value.
• Check that the outer door is closed properly.
• Check the door's seals for any damage. Replace any damaged seals.
• If the above points do not reveal the source of the fault, it may be that the unit is faulty. Please contact
BINDER Service.
In case of a CO
2
over concentration alarm, proceed as follows:
• Open both unit doors for approx. 30 seconds. Respect the precautions when working with CO
2
gas
(chap. 1.6).
• Normal operation can be restarted, as soon as the requested values have been readjusted.
If the same alarm recurs, please contact BINDER Service.
10.8 CO
2
pressure too low
The CO
2
primary pressure at the intake valve is less than 0.3 bar / 4.4 psi below the ambient air pressure.
The alarm displays show a pressure drop of CO
2
admission below 0.3 bar / 4.4 psi. Check whether the
gas cylinder is open.
