■ Fix the brake pipe bracket. Ensure that there is
enough space between pipe and chassis.
■ Assemble the level control sensor 햻.
■ Mount the wheel.
■ Tighten the 4 nuts on the strut dome
(torque to 30 Nm) 햽.
■ Screw on pressure line (torque to 5 Nm) 햾.
Check O-ring – replace if necessary.
■ Insert electric plug of the strut being fitted 햿.
Pay attention to the correct position of the
plug slot.
■ Lower vehicle until wheels encounter the
floor slightly.
Never under any circumstances allow the vehicle
to be fully lowered from the lifting hoist with the
air suspension depressurized.
■ Start the engine and release the parking brake.
Prevent vehicle against accidentally rolling.
■ Lower the vehicle until approx. 380 mm (lower
edge of the fender – axle centre) from the car
hoist and wait at least for 2 minutes.
■ Lower the vehicle until approx. 340 mm – only
lower completely when the vehicle raises of its
own accord.
■ Check air suspension system for leaks.
■ Fully tighten screws loosed during the work in
ready-to-drive-condition in accordance with the
car-manufacturer’s specifications.
■ A following front end alignment is required.
