Only fully tighten all movable, suspension related
screw connections in ready-to-drive-condition
observing the manufacturer’s specifications and
tightening torques.
■ Renew self-locking nuts.
■ Detach ball joint of the upper track
control arm 햶.
Use suitable tool.
■ Detach steering tie rod from hub carrier.
■ Remove the 4 nuts on the strut dome.
■ Detach the spring strut from bottom
track control arm 햷.
■ Push the bottom track control arm down
and remove the strut sideways.
Installing the front struts
■ Check the required length of the new strut
(Approx. 650 mm: measure from fork fixture
to the top excluding bolts)."
■ Fit the new strut upwards and position
the 4 upper nuts 햸.
■ Assemble the strut fork to bottom track
control arm.
■ Assemble the ball joint of the upper track
control arm.
■ Assemble coupling bar (stabilizer) 햹.
■ Assemble steering tie rod 햺.
