HEIM
REPLACEMENT.
STEP 1
Using snap ring pliers, remove snap ring from both
sides on the rod end.
STEP 2
Using table press, remove heim joint.
STEP 3
Reinstall snap ring on one side of the rod end.
STEP 4
Install new heim in eyelet.
Two sockets may be used on either side of
the rod end to remove heim joint using a table
press. The lower socket must be large enough
for the heim to drop into.
