5.1.1 PROFILE S E T U P
Bigpond will pro v i d e t he information re q u ired t o co m p l e t e t he first t i m e se t u p in st ructions
below. T his incl u d e s p ro f ile, use rn a m e a n d p a ss w o rd. On l y co m p l e t e t hose st e p s for whic h y o u
have information and ski p t he ot h e rs.
1. I f yo u r SIM card is not inse r t e d into t h e gateway, please turn the ga t e way off. Then inse r t
t h e S I M a n d t u rn t h e g a t e way o n .
2. Ty p e th e APN in t h e AP N fi e l d . Au t hentic a t i o n Met h o d sh o u l d be pro v i d e d by Big p o n d ; or
just leav e i t AUTO if not acquire d . I f y o u h av e n o t receiv e d t he use rn a m e a n d p a ssword,
leave t h e se fields empty.
3. Select IP compressi o n a n d D a t a co m p ression to be ON or OFF. By default t h ey a re se t t o o f f.
4. Click t h e S ave button to sav e t he n e w settings .
