Operation Times
Operation time status can be set to "on" or "off". If set to "on" all hours of the day need to be marked.
"o" for open
"c" for close
For all times when the operation times has a value set to close, a "operator extension" value needs to be set
so that callers can be re-directed to that extension. This is used particularly to play a out of hours of voice
mail messages.
Operator Extension
The "operator extension" is where all calls are re-directed to during closed times
Closed dates
List of all dates when the organisation is not open for operations.
9.2.4 Extensions Ringing
Ringing options for edited extension can be set here.
Ringing:
Ringing is a sound which the caller will hear after the caller has pressed a digit. Available options are:
· Generate Ring (Caller will hear ringing)
· Music on Hold (Caller will hear music on hold)
· None (Call will hear nothing)
Music on Hold:
If ringing be set to "music on hold", this option offers to select which class of music on hold to be played to
the caller.
9.2.5 Local Dialing
Dial local/network destinations sets whether the callers are permitted to directly dial local/network
extensions.
· If set to "Yes" callers will be able to dial local/network extensions.
· If set to "No" callers will not be able to dial local/network extensions.
9.2.6 Permissions
Permissions is used to allow an organisation to restrict who is able to enter an IVR. In particular there are
organisations where
access to the IVR is only allowed to the callers with a valid account number but it can be used for other
similar purposes.
