Record Calls:
Sets all calls placed and received to this extension to be recorded. Calling party will hear "This call is
recorded" message.
Silent:
If this option is set to "Yes" then "This call is recorded" message will not be played.
5.2.14 Auto Provisioning
These options provide a choice of setting MAC Address, Ip, Netmast, Gateway and DNS Servers
manually or automatically.
Auto Provisioning:
Setting this option to "Yes" allows supported UAD to download its configuration file in order to auto
provision all settings for this extension.
MAC Address:
MAC (Media Access Control) address is assigned to a device in a network. It consists of a 48-bit
hexadecimal number (12 characters). The address is normally assigned to a device, such as a network
card, when it is manufactured.
DHCP:
DHCP or Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol automatically configures the PC with an IP address,
subnet and gateway. Optionally, it can also configure settings such as WINS, DNS, and other
information.
Static IP:
An IP address that is manually assigned to a device that is the same every time you "log on" to the
Internet.
