Countertop
Surface must be CLEAN, DRY, GREASE, OIL, and WAX FREE. BEYOND
PAINT® Countertop is slightly textured to eliminate the worry of brush marks,
provide a finish that conceals imperfections and offers versatility in application.
Use less BEYOND PAINT® Countertop for a smoother finish; apply thicker for a
more textured effect.
DIRECTIONS: 1. Using a soft bristle brush, simply “mush” or “stipple” into crevice
or hard to reach areas. 2. Roll as many areas as possible (a 5/8” fabric roller is
preferred). 3. Traditional brush stroke techniques are not preferred when using
BEYOND PAINT® Countertop. 4. Two coats are preferred; allow 1 -2 hour drying
time between coats. 5. For design options see below. 6. Allow to cure for 24
hours before applying BEYOND PAINT® Multipurpose Sealer (see Sealer for
directions).
DESIGN OPTIONS FOR APPLICATION
1. One color application: apply 2+ coats as directed above
2. One color plus BEYOND PAINT® Color Flecks: Roll on your final coat
of BEYOND PAINT® Countertop in small (approx 1 x 2’) sections.
Immediately shake the BEYOND PAINT® Color Flecks into the wet
BEYOND PAINT® Countertop (see BEYOND PAINT® Color Flecks for
directions).
3. Two color granite finish: Roll on 2 coats of one color. When dry, sponge
on another color of BEYOND PAINT® Countertop. Work in small sections
and shake the BEYOND PAINT® Color Flecks into the wet sponged
BEYOND PAINT® Countertop.
Seal all BEYOND PAINT® Countertop and outdoor projects with BEYOND
PAINT® Multipurpose Sealer as directed.
