4. Calling

4.1 Make a call

Note: You can make a call only when the network name appears

on the screen.

1. Enter the phone number.

2. Press the PickUp key to dial the number.

4.2 Options during a call

During a call, you can press Left soft key Option to carry out the

following operations:

♦ Hold/Retrieve: To hold or retrieve the call;

♦ End:To end the call;

♦ New call: To make a new call;

♦ Phone book: To access phonebook list;

♦ Message: To send a SMS;

♦ Sound recorder: To record phone conversation;

♦ Mute: To mute or unmute the call;

♦ DTMF: To set it On or Off.

4.3 Mute or unmute a call

During a call, press Left softkey Option and select On or Off.When

you select Mute, the microphone will be deactivated.

When you switch from one call to another, muting will be cancelled.

4.4 Adjusting speaker/earpiece volume

During a call, press ▲/▼to increase or decrease the volume (if you are

not browsing the call options menu).

When the volume has been set, the call volume will take effect

immediately and the settings will be applied to your subsequent calls.

4.5 Call recording

During a call, press Left soft key Option and select Record to record

the conversation.
