5 Input Methods
5.1 General
This handset supports Simplified Chinese input. It provides the following text input modes: T9 Pinyin, English (Capital
letter), English (Small letter), Number, T9 ABC, T9 abc , Pinyin , Stroke.
5.2 Keys Definition
¾ Left Soft Key/Middle Key: denotes Confirm in general, Right Soft Key denotes clear character or return in general.
¾ Direction keys: scroll to move cursor up/down/left/right, or page up or down for desired words, or select Chinese
Pinyin.
¾ Key #: Press ‘#’ to toggle between input methods.
¾ Number keys (0-9): In Pinyin input mode, these keys denote the phonetic letters on each key; In Stroke Input mode,
these keys denote the stroke on the each key; In English Input mode, these keys denote the English letters on each key.
¾ * Key: in Chinese and English status, press ‘*’ to provide symbol marks.
