• Hold the battery compartment cover at its lateral indentations on the left and right of its upper end.
• Flip the battery compartment cover open downwards.
• Insert two AA batteries of the same type (NiMH HR 6 or Alkaline LR 6) and follow the symbols inside the battery
compartment .
• Flip the battery compartment cover shut upwards. Magnet latches hold it closed securely.
• The current battery status is indicated on the transmitter's and receiver's displays. Please ensure that prior to
synchronisation the correct type of battery has been selected on the receiver.
• Connect a microphone or the WA-CGI instrument cable to the 4 pin Mini XLR plug .
• Switch on the pocket transmitter using the On/Off switch until the name entered at the receiver and the bat-
tery status are displayed. The LED of the power indicator is illuminated green if the batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries are full. If the LED of the power indicator is illuminated red, the batteries/rechargeable batteries are
empty.
• Additional information (frequency, HF power) can be displayed by pressing the On/Off button briefly repeatedly.
• To switch the transmitter off, hold the On/Off button pressed until the message "Off" is displayed.
